Energetics is one of the UK's Largest utility designers, installers and operators, working across the UK. We provide gas, electricity and water to new residential and commercial developments for housing and construction customers.

Come and be part of our Sales Design and Build team as a CAD Technician and immediately have a key role to play at the heart of our business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to join a fast paced and dynamic team.

The role will primarily involve creating utility network drawings using AutoCAD for new construction and approvals purposes. 

We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to learn and get better, someone who can provide good customer service and is motivated to succeed!

The Role:

  • Autocad drawings from design through to As-laid.
  • Building up accurate on-screen drawings.
  • Prepare As-laid drawings for Gas, Water and Electric.
  • All drawings.
  • Agreeing the brief with the Design Team.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to customers both internal and external. 
  • Carry out other duties which are appropriate to the post as may reasonably requested by the Manager.
  • Finding practical and innovative solutions to design problems.

What we need from you:

  • City and Guilds CAD Qualification.
  • Be IT literate with ability to competently use software packages to complete work.
  • Be a strong communicator, flexible, willing to adapt to new tasks and duties.
  • Organised, methodical approach to work.
  • Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm, while displaying accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be a team player able to support colleagues.
